Quality and workmanship is strangely excessive with thick wooden, very good finish, and good match. Drawers and doors operate easily. Furniture was once specially well packaged. This is a huge piece of furniture at about 6ft tall and is heavy (340lbs on skid). The simplest issue I had was with the metallic braces that steady the hutch and buffet. The screws securing the backing of the hutch should no longer symmetrical so I might not stable one aspect without pulling a backing screw out. This item also comes with tip-over protection which is a good touch. Very impressed.
